341 Meeting questions

These are some questions you will be asked at your 341 Meeting of the Creditors for your bankruptcy

Chapter 7 questions

  1. Your name and address. Your phone number(s)
  2. Have you read and reviewed the Bankruptcy Information Sheet (tells you about the different chapters/ types of Bankruptcy cases (chapters 7, 11 and 13).
  3. Are you employed? You may be asked the name and phone number of the employer.
  4. Have you ever filed Bankruptcy before? When and Where?
  5. How long have you lived in Florida? Or, resided in your current home?
  6. Have you filed all of your required federal tax returns? Are the ones you provided to the Trustee true copies of the ones you actually filed?
  7. Are you obligated to pay any Court Ordered Child Support or Alimony? Are you current since the case was filed?
  8. Did you get a tax refund for last year? How Much? Where did you spend it?
  9. Have you sold or transferred anything of value (Greater than $500.00) to anyone within the last two (2) years? Was that person a friend or family member?
  10. Have you repaid any friends or family member back on any loans within the last one (1) year?
  11. >Have you seen an attorney for any reason other than this case within the past four (4) years?
  12. Have you been injured by anyone that you could sue for injuries? Do you have any pending lawsuits against anyone?
  13. Depending on the time of the year, you may be asked how much of a Tax Refund did you get/ when you actually received it and what did you do with the money.

Chapter 13 questions

  1. Your name and address. Your phone number(s)
  2. Have you read and reviewed the Bankruptcy Information Sheet (tells you about the different chapters/ types of Bankruptcy cases (chapters 7, 11 and 13).
  3. Are you employed? How much do you earn?
  4. Have you ever filed bankruptcy before? When and where?
  5. What is your city and state for the past 2 years?
  6. Have you filed all of your required federal tax returns for the last 4 years? Are the ones you provided to the Trustee true copies of the ones you actually filed?
  7. Are you obligated to pay any Court Ordered Child Support or Alimony? Are you current since the case was filed?
  8. Have you sold or transferred anything of value (probably over $5,000 in value) to anyone within the last ten (10) years? What did you do with the money?
  9. Does anyone owe you any money or is there anyone you can sue?
  10. Have you seen an attorney for any reason other than this case within the past four (4) years?
  11. Have you been injured by anyone that you could sue for injuries? Do you have any pending lawsuits against anyone?
